Weather Alert

My furry brother, Nanuq and I are dreaming of snow. It is 100 degrees with high humidity here in Richmond, Virginia. What happened to our beautiful winter wonderland. We were NOT made for this weather. Mom and Dad graciously allow us to lay on top of the air conditioning vents, but we do have to go outside a few times per day to do our business. Please remember NOT to leave your furry children out in this heat, too long. If it is NOT good for humans it is even worse for us kids with fur coats.

Woofs and Wags,
Sitka

I don't like too hot of a weather, too Sitka. I hope you're okay and Nanuq!

It's hot! The worst is it's humid too! We don't like it either but the place that we live is just hot and humid. How we wish we could have a slight taste of winter and snow and also the beautiful flowers in spring.

Very good advice ~ And it is so dangerous for the furry animals to be left in cars. I get so upset about that.

I do not like living in really hot weather. I live in a state that is hot most of the time though. Take care my furry friend.

Sitka, you are absolutely right. One needs to be careful. It's been years since I have lived on the other Coast. I forget how wicked muggy it can get -- that's worse than the heat, I think.

It is very hot and humid here also, Sitka. Chancy doesn't stay out long and he enjoys the air conditioner. Baby Boy and Angel have lots of shade and water to help keep them cool, they have never lived inside. Thank you, for thinking of us all. Hugs

I was in Kentucky at a reunion and it was HOT! I feel the pain of the heat. I think that now that I am back in California, that we are currently cooler than you are temp wise. The heat just wipes me out. We make sure that our dog is not in all that heat unless he has to do his business. What I don't get are those people who leave their pets and children in hot cars. They should know better.

Dear Sitka
Well, since snow is not likely to come any time soon, I wish you and Nanuq at least some cooler temperatures.
I hope Macy continues to do well - your mom is an amazingly dedicated mom and I'm so pleased she allows you to share your own words in your blog!! :-)
