Mom's Back

Mom has been gone "all" weekend. My furry sister, brothers, and I do NOT like it when Mom and Dad are away. We try to understand they must go some places without us, but we do NOT like it.

Last week, Mom's great aunt Mary (Mel) died. She was 99 3/4 years old. Mom and Dad traveled to S.C. for her funeral. They left on Thursday morning and returned on Saturday night. I would have posted while they were away, but Mom did not leave the laptop for me. My big furry paws would have tried to dance across the keyboard in her absence.

Mom will rest and we will return to our normal routine. Mom says, "our life is not normal" and likely it isn't, but we "LOVE" the life GOD has given us. Our parents love us (their furry kids) and all humans unconditionally. I am sure it is hard for them sometimes, but they love everyone.

Woofs and Wags,

Sitka

*Don't forget to provide adequate shelter, food, and water for your furry kids!

We are glad your Mom and Dad got home OK. All weekend! Our Mommy goes to work every day and we don't like her gone for those few hours! But, all weekend, we would be soooo upset!!

We are happy to hear that your parents have returned home safely. we hate it too when our mom and dad go away.

Thankfully, we have an awesome sister, Goose, who comes and takes care of us when they have to go away. We are very lucky that they don't go away very often.

Well, we're off to help mom bake some Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin cookies for Dad's lunch tomorrow.

Talk again soo~

Your great aunt had a long life! I am sure your Mom has many interesting memories she could have you share with us. Glad your Mom and Dad made it home safely from the family funeral... our thoughts are with you all. xoxo

I'm sorry about your Mom's aunt, but it sounds like she lived a long and hopefully satisfied life. I know it must have been hard for her to be away from you. I have a hard time ever leaving my furry child at home. Hope things get back to "normal" soon.

Sitka, I'm glad your mom and dad are back too!

Yes, the world is blessed by your parents, indeed. They are such wonderful, generous and loving people.

I'm thrilled to know them and have them in my life (and you as well, of course:-)

I'm glad your mom and dad are home safe and sound. You look quite happy about that Sitka.

My Tobi doesn't like it when I leave either. Especially now that I work from home and I take her almost everywhere with me.

Woof! (Joy!) So glad your family is back home ... how sad a situation for them to deal with. Did you send a prayer up for Aunt Mary? Good!

Hugs, Marydon
