Sox

Wil (our human brother) and Sox (our kitty brother).

Did I mention we have a kitty brother to go with our 3 human brothers? This is Sox. Mom rescued him about 3 years ago. He was in a drain pipe on a farm in rural Virginia with his kitty siblings. Mom could hold him in her hand when she brought him home. She crate trained him and even trained him to walk on a leash. Mom and I need to find those pictures to show you.

Sox weighs 15 pounds and if you saw him standing up you would be able to tell he is NOT fat. He is just a big boy. He is quite long and tall. These pictures make him look fat, but they are the most recent.

Last week, Mom took Sox to the vet. He has been biting and pulling his own hair out. Apparently, something is bothering my kitty brother. Our vet prescribed anti-anxiety medicine for Sox. He is better, but we still catch him doing it occasionally. Please pray for Sox. He looks a little strange with hunks of fur missing and we do not want him to be stressed.

We all love Sox. Mom says he is a dog trapped in a cats body. He comes when you call him. He is very sweet, loving, and gentle. He even lets mom clip his nails and does not fight her when she has to give him medicine. He is a gentle giant.

Woofs and Wags,

Sitka

Sox is so fantastically cute and looks as though he could have been brothers with my darling grey tabby girl (Stella).

Tons of hugs & blissful Thursday wishes to you and all of the furry family! :)

I tried so hard to get my cat to use a leash but she HATES it. She crawls around on her belly when we put it on her.

Praying for your little kitty!
