Dad Is Caught

Do you see it? Dad is caught kissing another fur baby! Trouble, Nanuq, and I could hardly believe it when we found this picture on Mom's camera. What in the world was Dad thinking?

Mom says not to worry! This fur baby is special. She belongs to Dad's cousin and her name is "Hokie."

I suppose we will forgive him this time. After all, he has lots of love to go around.

Snow Days

Mom, Dad, and I were blessed with snow after months of prayers! It came on Sunday afternoon and is almost gone, today! As you can see, I really enjoyed playing in the snow. Mom could hardly get me to come inside, Sunday night. She said, "we have to sleep....you can play more tomorrow!" I was pretty tired, but I am sure I could have romped around howling all night long. Surely, the neighbors would have understood my delight. It's not like we get snow everyday in Richmond, Virginia.

Our Parents

Mom and Dad returned home on October 30th. My furry brothers and I thought things would be back to normal. However, on November 1st both our parents became very ill. They are still sick. We wanted them home with us, but we don't like it when our humans are sick. We are doing our best to take care of our humans. Please join us as we put our furry paws together in prayer for the complete healing of our parents.

Mom Is In Big Trouble!

Mom is in "big" trouble! Do you see those feet? They belong to our mom. We know her feet when we see them. She left us behind and went to the beach for 2 weeks. We overheard something about it being to "hot" for us fur babies. If it is too hot for fur babies; it's too hot for humans.

Mom left us in charge. I am not sure our human brothers got the memo, but we are in charge when she is not here. We do a pretty good job of guarding the place. We take notes if our human brothers bring anyone here they are not suppose too. We also have human back up from reliable experts. We call them spies, but don't tell our human brothers.

Got to go! We will deal with mom when she gets home. Until then, lots to do on the home front!

Adventures with Sitka

A week ago, Mom, Dad, and our human brother, Wil took Nanuq, Trouble, and I to Shenandoah National Park. We had a great day. We stopped several times as we traveled up the mountain to hike around. We saw a few deer and did not harass them. Mom was very proud of us. She was most especially proud of me. Mom knows I am tempted beyond belief by those cute furry deer. She assures me they do not want to play with me, but I am not totally convinced.

Later in the day, Mom, Dad, and Wil decided to eat at Skyland Lodge. They had packed our food in the ice chest, but did not feed us before they entered the lodge. I was a little offended. After all, it was our dinner time, too! I discussed it with Trouble and Nanuq. They were willing to wait, but I was hungry! I climbed over the seats and found the ice chest in the front floor on the drivers side. I could barely raise the heavy lid, but I managed to get it up just enough to get my zip lock back of food out. Nanuq and Trouble pretended to look the other way. They did not want to be involved. I don't know why they were so concerned, I only got my food. I left theirs in the cooler. When my human family returned I was sitting in the front passenger seat with my head resting on the dash taking a little siesta. You should have seen the look on their faces when they realized I had fed myself dinner and shut the cooler back. I refused to reveal how I accomplished this task, after all, I can't give away all my furry secrets. Mom took me for a lovely walk while my furry brothers ate their dinner.
