Weather Report and Update

Last night, the wind whipped and howled ferociously as rain came down. Today, the wind continues to whistle and sing. The weather man predicts snow for tomorrow. Well, he says we "might" get snow. Snow is not what most humans want to hear, but for those of us of Nordic decent it is a divine and heavenly word!

Update for "The Perdue Zoo:"

~Mom is doing well on her journey to becoming a "better me" as she calls it. Last week she lost 4.4 pounds. She continues to struggle with making the right choices in every area of her life. I suppose that's what happens when we live our lives trying to be all God created us to be whether we are His human or furry children.

~Dad received AWESOME news from his doctor yesterday. The cancer in his body has NOT grown at all over the past year. Dad and Mom have changed Dad's diet radically. He has almost totally eliminated sugar, because sugar feeds cancer cells. That is the big change. Dad had already altered his other eating habits several years ago. Thank you very much for putting your human and furry paws together in prayer for my Dad. He appreciates your prayers and so do Trouble and I.

Better Late Than Never

Last Thursday evening Dad opened the door and revealed God's heavenly fluff falling from the sky. I was overcome with excitement. It was nearing 11:00 pm, but I had to run and jump around as the snow fell. Dad went to bed, but Mom allowed me to play until after 12:00 am.

I awoke to a good dusting of snow. In some spots there was just under an inch of snow. I prefer a deep snow, but you take what you can get when your humans choose to live on the East Coast of America.

I'm sorry I did not share our beautiful winter wonderland sooner. I have trouble holding onto Mom's laptop with my furry paws and Mom has been pretty busy with our humans. I suppose the old saying "better late than never," is applicable today!

~Update at "The Perdue Zoo":

Our human Dad will be having a biopsy, tomorrow. Please pray for him.

Mom is working on becoming a healthier version of herself. Please pray for Mom as she works hard to become all GOD created her to be, and pray for us as we help her move toward her goal.

Setting The Record Straight

I hear mom has been talking about me, my furry siblings, and even my human brothers and sisters on her blog, Arise2Write. Don't believe everything you read. I don't know what she could possibly be referring to. Challenging.....not me, not my human siblings either. Well, maybe the humans, but not us fur babies. We would never drag her up trees, throw up on her expensive rugs, or chew up her brand new $500 eye glasses. Nope, not us!

Just setting the record straight!

Happy New Year 2013

Somehow Trouble made his way into the human Christmas picture of our siblings and grand-siblings. 2012 was a pretty good year. Our furry brother Nanuq went to doggie heaven and there were ups and downs in our humans lives, but all in all they clung to their faith and GOD saw them through.

We pray you will all have a blessed New Year!
