This picture of Nanuq was taken a few years ago. Nanuq is moving much slower these days. His joints are aging despite his young spirit. He tells mom and dad he wants to go outside, but when he gets outside he wants to come back in. He spends most of his time laying on a dog bed in the middle of our family room floor. Please pray for Nanuq. We love him so much and we do not want him to suffer.

Nanuq sounds just like my Reggie; at 13.5 yrs old he is slowing down and is in and out all the time. Last night he needed out three times in the middle of the night. I just found out he has two heart murmurs too; I keep watching and praying I'll know. Sending lots of love to you all.

From the mom - not sure how I missed this, it seems like my online time is sporadic at best.
I am so very sorry to hear this about Nanuq. It is so difficult to watch as our furry kids age - Shiloh will turn 9 next week (which is middle-age for a Beagle) and a few days ago he suffered some kind of a neck/back strain which kinda gave me a picture of what's to come as he gets older. He is almost back to 100% for him but he has back problems anyway. Your Nanuq is such a handsome guy and looks so sweet.
I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
