Fear

Last week, we visited Hatteras Island! During our visit we experienced the "invasion" of Frisco Beach by strange looking objects. Mom and Dad called these scary creatures "Kite/Wind Surfers!" At one point, there were about 20 or more in the waters of the beach, coming inland towards us.

I am usually a pretty cool dude. Mom has exposed me to lots of loud and strange looking creatures. I am accustomed to hospitals, air planes, and fire alarms among a few things. However, these colorful and erratic moving objects made me crazy. I "drug" Mom to the dunes and hid in the sea grass. I really wanted to go back to the beach house, but Mom wanted to get some pictures. Mom wasn't scared and did not understand what was wrong with me. She tried to tell me these scary creatures were just humans enjoying the beautiful day, but I did not buy it. I am still not convinced! Everyone is afraid of something and for me it is Wind Surfers and jet ski's.

Have you ever been afraid? How did you handle your fear? Did you have someone to comfort you during the time of intense fear?

Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek on Hatteras Island!

Can you find Nanuq? He is hiding. We play games of hide and seek. We think we are blending into our surroundings. However, we are not completely transparent. With good vision we can be seen and with excellent hearing we can be heard. Our furry and human friends may not see or hear us, but GOD always sees and hears us!

Are you hiding from anyone?

Are you hiding from GOD?

What's your story? I would love to hear about your adventures and I am sure mom would, too!

Hatteras Island

Mom and I are leaving lots of footprints on the sand! I have taken mom for lots of walks since we arrived on Hatteras Island this past Saturday. We are enjoying the beautiful National Seashore! Mom and Dad have watched lots of dolphins and even saw a whale! They were pretty excited about seeing the whale.

Mom and Dad will celebrate their Anniversary this week. I am thankful they share their beautiful adventures with my furry brothers and I.

A picture of love from a furry kids perspective.

My parents pour out love everywhere they go. However, it begins at home! God has blessed them with two beautiful grandbabies, Savannah age 3 1/2 and Elijah  age 6 months.

Happy Valentines Day!

Prayer Request for Blaise's Mom

Last week, I introduced you to my furry friend, Blaise. What I did not tell you is his human Mom is in the midst of medical crisis. Last summer she had a stroke. She is still in the recovery process, but has recently learned of other obstacles she must now face. I do not have her permission to share those medical issues with you at this time, but I know she will appreciate your prayers. After all, GOD knows the details! Blaise is doing his best to help his human Dad care for and encourage his Mom. Please join us in prayer for this very special lady. My human Mom counts Blaise's human Mom as one of her very best friends. Let us put our furry paws and human paws together and storm the heavens with prayer!
