Forever Home Needed

My mom gets lots of calls about abandoned dogs and cats. She is usually able to find a foster home or a forever home. For over a month, she and her dog loving/training friends have been trying to find a home for a 7 year old black lab. He is very gentle. His mom and dad are going through a divorce and custody battle for their human kids. He is living alone in his home and a neighbor comes to feed him and let him go potty. My furry brothers, sister, and I are very sad. We know our mom and dad can't take him. We are quite a handful, but this furry friend needs a home. He needs someone to love him. If you are interested or know someone who is, please leave your email information for my mom. I will have her get in touch with you. In the mean time, please pray for this dog.

Andrea, this breaks my heart! If I had enough space, I would go to the shelter and bring them all home...we are big time dog lovers...this is sooooo sad. Where is the dog? I can't take him permanently, because we have this little dog we got at the shelter, and she is dog agressive...we tried to bring a second dog home, and she went for the his attacked him, even though he was twice her size. But I would hunt for someone to take him, if I can get him here...I can't think about him being in that house all alone. We used to have two black labs...Buddy and Brea...til they died at age 13...they were precious!

Let me know if you find anyone, or if there's a way to get him here.

God bless!
Mary

Yes, I will be praying for just the right people/person to say, "Yes! I want to bring this special dog home with me." There is that perfect home and family out there. Oh, my! What divorce does to children is so devastating, but animals suffer, too! I am sorry!

How about Lab rescue group? I am sure someone can foster this wonderful dog.... or SPCA... keep us posted, this is plain WRONG! One of the two irresponsible divorcing parties should have tried very hard to do something for their loyal friend. This makes me so mad.

He would make a nice Christmas gift for someone out there. I'm praying that someone contacts you soon so he can enjoy his Christmas with a new loving family.

Love you,
Alleluiabelle

Your love for God's creatures truly warms my heart. I know the Lord will find him a good home. One which will love and cherish him as much as you cherish God and His creatures both great and small. God bless you my friend.

You are so incredibly wonderful...nearly every time I read one of your posts, filled with such kindness and care for humans and animals like, I am moved to tears, and this one is no exception. I truly hope that a loving fur-ever home can be found for this precious dog.

That makes me sad. When someone gets a dog its a commitment for life.
I miss my family dog so much , half the time when I go to my parents to visit.. It's to see her! I rescuted her from a shelter when I was 18.
When I left home to start a family of my own I couldn't bring her with me as it would of broke my brothers heart.

I look forward to the day my bank allowance lets me go rescue another dog! :)
