Mr. and Mrs. Swan
A week ago, Mom visited the fishing club with Dad. While walking around the lake Mom made new friends. Mr. and Mrs. Swan came out of the water and followed Mom around. Mom actually had to keep backing up to take these pictures because they were at her feet.
Dad was amazed. He is one of the owners of the fishing club and the swans have been chasing the fisherman. Yes, chasing! and from what I gather in doggie language they were not being polite about it.
I always knew Mom was special. I see qualities other humans do not see. She has an understanding of many of us in the animal kingdom. We sense her spirit and we know she is safe.
Mr. and Mrs. Swan knew Mom would not hurt them. They knew they could trust her. The swans were sensitive to their surroundings. Are you sensitive to yours? Not everyone is safe. People can be mean and cruel. Mr. and Mrs. Swan and I(Sitka) ask you to pray for a sensitivity to your surrounds. Pray for God's guidance as you go about your daily lives.
Be sensitive! Be aware! Be safe!
Woofs and Wags,
Sitka

What a beautiful perspective/reminder for us to be sensitive with our surroundings. Sometimes, we miss the opportunity of being a blessing because of our insensitivity. Bless your mom for her sensitive and warm spirit.
Mr. & Mrs. Swan... I love just the sound of it. I am really impress with the way you are being so "creature" lover. :)
Thank you Sitka for reminding me to be more sensitive to my surroundings. We never know what's going on on the inside.
Good Morning Andrea. It does my heart good to see a comment first thing in the morning. I'm commenting here because I'm having a little trouble leaving comments on "Arise To Write". I think it's my computer though.
The Psalm you left was just what I needed today. We are having special services at church, some of my family is coming in, and although the day will be a wonderful blessing, my body will pay for it for several days. This message of God's strength will help to get me through.
Also loved the swan story. Another reason they might have "followed" your mom and "chased" the fishermen is that she was not cutting into their food supply. Ha, Ha. (I don't like LOL)
Have a super day and a wonderful beginning to next week.
God Bless,
Mimmy
That is so lovely.
What a beautiful reminder, thank you very much.
Love Mr and Mrs Swan too.
