Mom Meets Caesar Millan!

Yes, this is my human mom, Andrea with Caesar Millan.  She left me at home. Can you believe it? I sure couldn't! I told her I wanted proof and she whipped out this picture and much more. She took pictures of my furry family and Caesar signed them. He even signed one of mom's favorite pictures of me in the snow. Mom was one of few special people to recieve an autographed picture made especially for the DuPont Hotel in Wilmington, DE. Dad and I have already promised to have it matted and framed for her.

I knew mom was up to something when she left here, yesterday. I had NO idea what kind of adventure she was going on, but she was far to happy for it be be blah. You see, I am very sensitive and I know when  mom has something up her sleeve, as the old saying goes.

Mom did not get home until 4 am, last night. It is a long way to Wilmington,  DE and back from Richmond, Va. I am glad mom came home and did not stay over night. It would have been easier on her, but we miss her when she is gone. Dad, my furry brothers and I waited up for a long time. Finally dad fell asleep, but Nanuq and I greeted mom at the back door when she entered. We couldn't rest until we knew mom was in her spot, curled up asleep.

Mommie Adventures

Mom is up and getting ready to go somewhere. She is going to leave us home with Dad. She refuses to tell my furry brothers and I where she is going. She said, "if it goes well, she will have pictures to share with us." We have begged and pleaded and she just want tell!

"Mommie....Mommie....please don't leave us home with Dad! We want to go with you!"

Prayer Requests

Today, I am thankful! My human mom had surgery, yesterday. She did not tell many people and she also did not tell my furry brothers and I. Dad brought her back home and put her to bed. We knew she needed us. I never left her side. She doesn't leave my side when I don't feel well and I was not about to leave her. Yesterday, she had a tough day, but she is much better this morning. She is sipping her coffee and clinging to her heating pad and Bible. We are remaining close and will continue to make sure she gets what she needs. If  dad is not quick enough to respond to her, we bark and paw at him. He is a great dad and husband. He never left Mom's side either.

There has been a lot going on around our house and we received more news last night of more prayer needs. Mom has sat up long enough to post it all on her blog, Arise 2 Write. Please jump over and storm the heavens with Mom for several people in URGENT need of prayer. Mom has a prayer button for her friend MaryGrace on Arise 2 Write, but has not posted on here, yet. Please pick it up over there. She hopes to have one for Kailly, soon.

Spring Fever

Spring is almost here! My humans are itching to go bare footed in the grass. The temperatures are increasing a little each week. While we are enjoying beautiful weather our humans are saddened by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Please pray for all those affected. Donations can be made through the Red Cross.

Island Life

While we were away, Mom took us for many walks. We really enjoyed our time on Hatteras Island. It is a wonderful dog friendly community. Thank you, to all the humans of Hatteras Island for making us feel welcome. Thank you, God for a beautiful week full of sunny and warm days to walk the beach. We sure hope mom and dad take us back again, soon.
