A Snowy Read
One of mom's friends gave her a waterproof Bible for Christmas. It was on mom's wish list. Everyone laughed and teased mom about it. However, it certainly came in handy when she and I wanted to read in the snow. The other cool thing about mom's new Bible is that she can underline and highlight in it and it doesn't smear or run. She loves it and so do I. Mom taught me from an early age about reading and writing. If you drop by our house you may find us curled up in the bed with a good book, mom's Bible, and her journal. They are always close by.

The Perfect Christmas
The perfect Christmas present for a big furry dog is snow. Awesome! We awoke to 3 inches this morning and it is predicted we will get at least 7 inches. Hot diggidy dog! Let's play!

Answered Prayer!!
Mom and I have been praying for snow and guess what, GOD ANSWERED! Isn't it beautiful! Mom and I have already been out to play. I woke her up to let her know we should go out before it stopped.
For all of you experiencing winter weather, please stay safe and stay warm. Remember to check on the elderly and other furry friends. My furry brothers and I are fortunate. Our parents allow us to live inside year round and only go outside to potty and play. Some fur babies are NOT as fortunate. Those babies need extra warm blankets, good shelter, and fresh water.

Brrr...It's Cold
This picture was taken near Big Meadow Lodge about a month ago. It was about 30 degrees and the wind was gusting. My human brother, Wil and my furry little brother, Trouble were not prepared for such frigid temperatures. You can't see it in this picture, but Trouble was shivering. Needless to say, we did not stay out long. Nanuq and I were enjoying the frigid temperatures, but we were the only ones dressed for the weather.
As the temperatures continue to fall, please remember to check on your human friends as well as your furry friends.
